ALMustansiriyah university occupied the Third place locally  in Webometrics  ranking 2021 . According to the new ranking, The university has advanced 360 places globally (from 3316 to 2956) in the World Webometrics Ranking and three places locally (from 6 to 3) Its worth  mentioning that Webometrics ranking is dealing with the quality of  websites  of global   universities .  

AlMustansiriyah  University, in cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Authority, held the First memorial festival for the leaders of the  victory, in the presence of the President of AlMustansiriyah University, Prof. Dr. Hamid Fadhil Al-Tamimi, and the President of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Prof. Faleh Al-Fayyad, many lecturers and academics and intellectuals who recalled the heroic role of the victory leaders who sacrificed  for the sake of the homeland and sacred shrines . The President of AlMustansiriyah University, Prof. Dr. Hamid Fadhil Al-Tamimi, said during his speech that AlMustansiriyah  University, while holding this memorial festival on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders  of victory, remembers its martyrs from students, lecturers and employees who were killed as a result of the terrorist bombings that targeted the university by evil people . Al-Tamimi also recalled the heroics and sacrifices of the victory leaders during the operations to liberate the country from ISIS terrorist gangs For his part, the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh al-Fayyad, confirmed in his speech at the festival that the popular crowd presented a group of martyrs in Salah al-Din, not for a sectarian goal, but in defense of the homeland.

ALMustansiriyah university council held its 7th session on Monday 11/1/2021 in the college of Management and economics. The session was headed by the president of the university Prof. Dr. Hamid Fadhil ALTamimi  and attended by all council's members  and discussed preparations for postgraduate studies examinations. During the session ,Al-Tamimi stressed the necessity to provide the full requirements for receiving the health teams, after cooperation with the Ministry of Health to ensure the health safety of students and teachers. The president of the university  praised  all the administrative efforts that have been made to complete the promotion and bonuses files for all university lecturers and employees, he also praised  the efforts made by the Central Promotion Committee to complete the promotion files  for lecturers  in accordance with the regulations and instructions. Al-Tamimi urged lecturers in  the university's colleges and centers to publish their researches in the accredited  international journals, in order that  the university occupies advanced ranks  within the internationally authenticated  classifications.
